This Preston kitchen was reworked around a single idea: give the family one long, uninterrupted bench. We simplified the layout so the cooktop, prep space and storage all sit in the same run, with deep drawers below for pots and pantry items. The stone benchtop was templated on site after the cabinetry was installed, so the joins fall where they should, and the splashback runs clean behind the cooktop with no visible fixings.
